Bandit Lures®
- FLATT MAXX®
 Bandit
Lures® of Sardis, Mississippi has recently introduced a new thin
profile crankbait called FLAT MAXX™ to satisfy growing demand for
this increasingly popular crankbait design. FLATMAXX™ combines a
flatter, more shad-like profile with a new “coffin” lip that many
crankbait makers have adopted in recent models. The combination of
a thinner body and an angled, rather than radiused lip, gives the
lure a tighter action and offers better tracking when bounced off
of obstructions.
The lure will be available
in two depth ranges; Deep Flat Maxx that runs 8-10 feet, and
Shallow Flat Maxx that reaches 3 to 5 foot depths. The body
measures 2 1/2-inches in length and width has been pared to just
under 3/4-inch. Bandit Lures plans to offer the lure in 40
standard colors and it is scheduled to reach retailers in late
summer.
