Bro's Area Report Walleyes'
 
June 19, 05'
 
Cass Lake -   Allens Bay producing numbers of Walleyes, 12-17 ft in morning and evenings.  Drop down to 22-29 ft. Daytime Town Bay been during the day, nicer fish coming in the humps south of Star Island, crawlers and large Leech better than Redtails.  Main lake spotty, small fish, but @ night very good East Star Island and relating humps as well as N.W Cedar Bar night Cranking working well.  Split shotting Little Joe spinners with shiners, also slipbobbing with Thill lighted bobber and leeches very hot.
 
Andrusa & Kitchi still holding great numbers of walleyes due to high water. 

Winnie has been hot, with lots of slot fish showing up from Mallard to Ravens as well as the north end Pigeon River Area the rockpiles.  Max Gap jigs and double hooked shiners working well, leeches and crawlers on lindy rigs getting great results 7-9 ft in weeds or 15-22 on humps perch bite fantastic on rockpiles and deeper humps.

 
Panfish-crappies have spanned look to deeper weedlines, lots of 12-14 inches. Bluegills making beds getting ready to spawn.  Please release gills over 8 1/2 inches back or you will hurt the fishery.

lakes to try for pans: Grace, Big, Turtle, Movil,Kitchi, Piemushe, Portage, Cutfoot sioux, Bowstring & Sand.

Leech Lake - Walleye fishing hotter than in past 3 years most too big to keep 20-23 still fun. Bass fishing amazing all year classes, historically the best ever.  Pan fish hot, crappies 10-14 ft gills emergent veg. Jumbo perch 8-14 in cabbage. Pike not uncommon to catch 25-40 pike a day.
