Beaver Lake bream have been good with crickets and worms.  Look for them in three to six feet of water.  Trollers are catching some crappie in the channels with Hot ‘n Tots, Bandits, Spider Spinners and jointed Shad Raps.  Bass have picked up around the main lake and secondary points with spinnerbaits or crankbaits and with topwater baits in the early morning or late afternoon.  A few stripers are still being caught.  White bass are biting minnows, jigs, Roadrunners, small Rattle Traps, Shad Raps and spoons.  However, small crawdads still remain the choice of many.  Point 12, Kelly Creek, the water intake and anywhere there is a flat near deep water is a popular place to look.  Many good stringers of catfish have been taken with large shad, bream, cut bait and chicken liver fished on shallow flats  producing good channels and bluff walls producing flatheads.
