On the Arkansas River in this area bass can be found in 2 to 6 feet of water near timber.  White bass are near jetty tips and hitting white beetle spins with a red dot.  Bream are being caught out of 2 to 6 feet of water on mud banks with crickets working well.  Crappie are in 5 to 8 feet of water with minnows.  Catfish are coming out of water 3 to 5 feet deep with large minnows – some good keepers are being caught.  A few huge drum are biting along the jetties in 6 to 10 feet of water.

Lake Dardanelle bream fishing has been hot, they are bedded up and hitting crickets.  Crappie are found in 6 to 10 feet of water around brush tops.  Whites and stripers have been doing some schooling.  Bass are fair with black and blue swimming jigs.  Catfish are 2 to 4 feet deep along the banks and being caught on crickets or stink bait.  Also fishermen are catching a lot of catfish with jugs baited with big minnows or nice slicks.
