Northern Wisconsin:

The spring steelhead season is coming to the end. Yes sad but true.

The brule river has seen a few late spawners come in this week.  But due too the high water they will spawn and be gone before the river recedes.  chequamegon bay shallows have been producing many walleyes and northerns.  Mainly off the shores of Ashland and the White river area.

Northern inland lakes have been picking up the past few days, mainly crappies.

Smelt are still moving around the national lake shore on there way to superior.

The walleyes are starting to move onto the mud flats around allouez bay.
