Polaris Industries (NYSE: PII) has announced a new sub-brand —
PURE Polaris — for the division formerly known as parts, garments
and accessories (PG&A). The
new name will help Polaris build a stronger retail presence with new
packaging and merchandising to create an identifiable brand of
parts, apparel and accessories for its riders.

PURE Polaris brand gives our products an identity that riders will
associate with ‘The Way Out’ through memorable riding
experiences on Polaris vehicles,” said Bennett Morgan, PURE
Polaris General Manager. “The
PURE Polaris team that designs and develops these products are all
riders. This first-hand
experience ensures that we develop products that provide riders with
quality, comfort, and reliability.”
New
Brand, New Team
Rebuilt
from the ground up, the PURE Polaris division has developed a new
team and a new sales force. With
the introduction of more than 1,100 new products in the year 2000,
PURE Polaris is poised to offer Polaris riders a complete riding
experience with new parts, apparel and accessories offerings.
“Because
PURE Polaris parts and accessories are developed specifically for
Polaris vehicles, they fit correctly and install properly to deliver
reliable and outstanding performance,” said Morgan.
“To use anything but genuine PURE Polaris products on a
Polaris vehicle would leave the riding experience incomplete.”
PURE
Polaris apparel — everything from camo jackets and waterproof bibs
to stylish swimwear and sharp leather jackets — provides riders

Victory Motorcycles riding gear and motorcycle parts and accessories
are developed and marketed under the management of the PURE Polaris
team, these products will continue to be sold under the Victory
Motorcycles brand name.
