It’s
No Mirage!
New Flashabou Mirage by
Hedron, Inc.
“We’ve not
seen such excitement over a new product from distributors and
retailers alike since our release of Flashabou in 1982,” says Don
Mears, President of Hedron Inc., creators and manufacturers of the
new Flashabou Mirage.
“Since its introduction, every order we’ve received
requests Mirage units.
It appears we’ve landed a keeper,” Mears continues.
What’s all
the fuss? Flashabou
Mirage stakes its claim as the most realistic fish tone to date.
Through advanced production methods that combine
Flashabou’s reflective qualities with color shifting technologies,
an iridescent, chameleon effect is created in every single fiber.
Minnesota based Hedron, Inc. is busting their buttons with pride as
they introduce Mirage as
“the first of its kind tying material”.
Others seem
equally excited. Tai Nakamura, fishing supply exporter to Japan, runs the
Dallas based distributorship Fly Tyer’s Primer.
Tai reported, “one of my distributors in Japan bought 300
units of Mirage without
even seeing the product!” Himself
a tyer, Nakamura is excited knowing he can create flies with Mirage
that have never been created before.
“A tyer’s dream”, said Tai. “Mirage
gets your imagination going and broadens the possibilities and the
spectrum”.
Another
promising sign for Hedron is the number of calls received from both
dealers and consumers all resulting from an ad announcing the
availability of Flashabou
Mirage. “It’s
no mirage! This is our best new product introduction in years.
We’re already hearing positive comments from Europe,”
states Mears.
Sales Manager
T.L. Lauerman of Wapsi Fly, one of the largest and most respected
manufacturer and distributor in the fly tying industry, said, “Mirage
really picks up the surrounding colors. It’s the first new
material of this type to get me excited in a long time.
It takes Flashabou to a whole new level!”
“Flashabou
Mirage is simply the most exciting development in synthetics
since the introduction of original Flashabou.
Its appearance in the water and "fish calling
power" are unlike anything I've ever seen” says Larry
Dahlberg who began flyfishing at the age of 4 in Wisconsin. Dahlberg
is now the host of the most of the most watched fishing show on
television, “The Hunt for Big Fish”. “It's a must have addition to every tyers bag of tricks.
It's simply unbelievable on jigs, bucktails and spinnerbaits too.
Coming from the man Flyfisherman
Magazine editor John Randolph once called “the most successful
‘big fish’ flyfisherman in the world,” this is high praise
indeed.
Not
only a keeper, Mirage looks to be a lunker!
