Suwannee Marina (352) 542-9159 Karin tells us that the
grouper are biting up close, anywhere from 17-30 feet of
water. The grouper are going after frozen baits and
pinfish. The trout are coming in very big sizes. They are
catching some beautiful redfish on the incoming tide. The
flounder are biting really well. The bait that seems to be
working right now for the trout, reds and flounder is
shrimp, fish bites and top water plugs. The scallops are
doing really well north of Pepperfish Area.
Millers
Marina (352) 542-7349 Bill says that the fishing has been pretty
good. The scallop season is off to a slow start. Offshore
fishing is doing really well on grouper. They are catching them
in the area around 40-70 feet of water. The trout are biting well
in the area. |
