| 1. | The Tournament is scheduled for January 22, 2000 from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. on Gull Lake at Hole-in-the-Day Bay. Contestants allowed inside fishing area prior to start of contest. |
| 2. | Should inclement weather cause cancellation on 1/22/99, Tournament will be held on 1/23/99, same time and place. |
| 3. | The top 100 place prizes are determined by largest weight and time registered. In the event of a tie, the first fish registered takes priority. Any size fish may place in top 100. |
| 4. | The first 100 fish registered that weigh 8 oz. or more win a prize package. This separate from and in addition to the top 100 place competition prizes. Limit one per person. A fish may win an 8 oz. prize package and qualify for the top 100 place prizes. |
| 5. | Each person will be allowed to fish one hole per ticket, two holes maximum. You may register as many fish as you want, but only the heaviest fish per contestant will qualify for a competition prize. No contestants will be eligible for more than one competition prize. There is no age requirement on tournament participation. |
| 6. | All fish entered must be brought to the Judges stand immediately and be alive. Dead or frozen fish are ineligible. Judges shall have the right to verify that fish were legally caught. The decision of the Judge is final. All prize winners may be required to take polygraph exams as part of contest requirements. In the event deception is detected his/her prize will go directly to charity. |
| 7. | All fish must be caught and the contestant on the way to the Judges' stand by 3:00 p.m. on the day of the contest. |
| 8. | Contestants must fish in the same area designated for the contest and will be required to have their tickets visible at all times. Ticket checks as well as container inspections will be performed. |
| 9. | Contestants will be allowed to move to other unoccupied holes in the contest area. You are allowed to bring as many poles as desired, but cannot use more than one pole per hole at a time. Contestants must use holes provided. |
| 10. | The Tournament Ticket and Random drawing tickets are two separate items. |
| 11. | Entry fee for the tournament is $30.00 for tickets purchased or entry form postmarked by 11:59 p.m., December 31, 1999. As of January 1, 2000 ticket prices will be $35.00. No refunds will be given for any reason. |
| 12. | Random drawing tickets will be available for $5.00 and need not be purchased in conjunction with Tournament Ticket. No refunds will be given for any reason. Random drawing tickets will be purchased for cash. A limited supply will be printed and for purchase at Brainerd area distribution centers and on the ice. |
| 13. | Contestants are responsible for their own safety, actions and property at all times. Contestants must be in plain view from all sides at all times. NO SHELTERS WILL BE ALLOWED. |
| 14. | All laws of the State of Minnesota will be abided by. |
| 15. | Prizes are the responsibility of the winners. Licensing, registration, transportation, taxes, and all incidental or sequential expenses incurred are the responsibility of the winners. |
| 16. | No motorized vehicles are allowed in the contest area other than contest officials and police personnel. Motorized vehicles are discouraged from being on the ice at all. Any contestant bringing a motor vehicle within 100 yards of the contest perimeter may be disqualified. Please call 1-800-950-9461 for handicap access information. |
| 17. | Contestants are required to park in the areas provided. Watch for signs. Contestants are encouraged to carpool and use the buddy system. Shuttles begin at 9:00 a.m. |
| 18. | Coolers and large containers are discouraged. No spears allowed. Heater, chairs, bait pails, depth finders are allowed. No bait or licenses sold on lake. Small chisels are recommended as holes are drill the day before. The use of augers is not allowed. Weighted lines without hooks can be used to check depth prior to 11:45 a.m. |
| 19. | Anyone prefishing within 24 hours before the contest must register with contest officials at the public access. |
| 20. | Failure to comply with any contest rules subjects contestants to disqualification and removal from competition site, as determined by contest officials. Right to refuse to sell or revoke a competition ticket to anyone is hereby reserved. |
| 21. | There will be a Leader Board located in the registration area. All effort will be made to keep the board up to date and accurate. |
| 22. | Members of the Brainerd Jaycees are ineligible to win contest prizes. |
| 23. | All contestants and others hereby consent to the use of any photographs or likeness of themselves to be used in the promotion of our contest, including but not limited to print, radio, or television, etc. |
| 24. | The Brainerd Jaycees thank you for supporting our efforts to protect the environment and request that you remove refuse, including cigarette butts, from the ice when you leave. Glass containers are not allowed in contest area and will be confiscated by, and forfeited to, tournament officials. Waste containers are provided. |
