Goose Hunters Be Warned - Proposed Snow Goose Hunting Season Changes Contingent On USFWS Action. There has been a lot of talk and misinformation regarding extending the Snow Goose season, no bag limits, allowing electronic calls and unplugged guns. As of this time the season has not been changed and the use electronic calls and unplugged gun remains prohibited. Hunters are urged to continue with traditional hunting methods until clearly informed by the LDWF that the use of unplugged guns and electronic calls has been sanctioned by USFWS action.
