OSCODA

As of July 1^st Bobby at Wellman’s Sports Center in Oscoda (1-231-723-3901) reports lake trout fishing very good 60’-80’ down along with a few salmon.  Good walleye fishing drifting in The Au Sable River during the day, trolling Rapalas at night. From Oscoda take River Road for 14 miles to Cooke Dam Bait and Au Sable Cabins. From Hale, take M-65 to River Road, north of Hale, approximately 8.5 miles. The surroundings are just gorgeous and wildlife can be seen about any time. The Au Sable River is just minutes away and fishing is terrific at the Dam. Walleye, bass, pike, you name it.
