Traverse City Area

As of the 1st week of July, Pat at Grand Traverse Tackle Box (1-231-933-6138) reports lake trout fishing good but on the small side. Keepers in the both Bays have to be 22”. White fish biting good in East Bay in 40’-80’ of water on wigglers. In Arbutus & Spider Lakes bass fishing good, bluegill fair. Walleye are being caught in Long Lake and the south end of Leelanau Lake. For a current fishing report call the shop.
