Fishing
report from Pfund’s
Crooked Lake Resort in Lake, MI. (1-800-328-5094) as of the 1st
week of July. Fishing real good in Crooked Lake. Smallmouth &
largemouth bass biting real good. Some nice smallmouth bass being
taken. Pike fishing good but are moving to deeper waters. Bluegill
fishing good but many still on beds. For a current fishing report

popular vacation fishing resort so reserve your cabins as soon as
possible. Fishing and hunting licenses now available. Located 13
miles north of Clare and 6 miles north of Farwell. Beautiful
furnished cottages with all the needed goodies.

1st
week of July Greg from Schafer’s
Bait & Sporting Goods, in Weidman, MI. (989-644-3501) reports
fishing has picked up in surrounding lakes. Good walleye fishing
in Coldwater Lake. Bass & bluegill hitting in the Martini Chain.

in Harrison, boasts the best breakfast and cup of coffee in town
along with daily lunch specials. They invite hunters and fishermen
to stop by. Only real potatoes are used when serving American
fries and hash browns. The meals are delicious and you get a plate

in Harrison reports Budd Lake producing nice catches of perch &
panfish. Long Lake, walleye & crappie fishing good. Very good
