MANISTEE,
ONEKEMA, BRETHREN & AREAS FISHING REPORT.
As of the
1st week of July Captain Dale from Tamboo Charters reports the
salmon are scattered but are biting good when over them. They
should be gathering with this nice weather. Many fish are being
marked. A charter can

1st week in June, Brian Pall, manager of Riverside Motel & Marina
reports the salmon are still scattered. For a current report call

The
Riverside Motel & Marina, (231-723-3554) located on the Manistee
River, is a ‘one
stop’
fisherman’s
haven. Boat dockage available as well as parking, a fish cleaning
station, fish freezing, a picnic area with a grill. Cable TV,
walk-out patio doors, also a heated pool is on the premises. The
Riverwalk is right there and you can enjoy the walk to downtown a
very short distance away. The casino is 2 miles away. A very
friendly center with lots of fish talk. Capt. Dave Ridley, the
Manistee fishing legend, is usually around with advice and
‘hot
fishing spots.’

the salmon are starting to school. Fishermen fishing the big lake
are getting a mixed bag of salmon, lake trout & a few steelhead.

Salmon are scattered but should be schooling at any time. Lake
trout fishing fair. Manistee Lake is producing some good bluegill
& bass fishing along with a few walleye. For a current report

Bass Lakes. Browns being taken in the Little Manistee & AuSable
