Vince at KD Outdoors
(248‑666‑7799) reports that walleye fishing on Pontiac Lake was
excellent during the 4th of July weekend. Crawler
harnesses and minnows worked best, but he added they were catching
them with crank baits and other methods too. Bass and bluegill
were also hitting on many of the area’s lakes.
Bruce at Flint &
Frizzen (248-625-3333) has been busy working on rifles and
muzzle loaders. If you want to get your gun cleaned up and
repaired before he gets real busy, now is the time to get in and
see him.
Carl at
C.C.W Lures (248-486-9173) expects
bass to be in about 8 to 12 feet of water and hitting plastic
worms. Bobber fishermen after panfish are also catching some nice
bass. Crappie should be active in Kent Lake with minnows being the
preferred bait. |
