The River’s Edge (989-876-6488) as of the 1st week in July reports fishing good. Nice walleye are being caught off the mouth of the AuGres River and as far down into Saginaw Bay. For current fishing report on the AuGres area call the store.

PINCONNING - LINWOOD

The Charbonneau Restaurant is a landmark in Pinconning. Opened in 1972 by Henry and Ellen Charbonneau, Ellen’s original recipes are used to this day. Their broasted chicken is excellent. Breakfast buffet daily. Friday and Saturday smorgasbord, crab legs, frog legs, peel and eat shrimp, choice rib eye steak, fried shrimp and clams, baked or fried cod, crab meat, smelt, Swiss steak and of course, broasted chicken.
