July
2003
NE Adirondacks |
NORTHEAST
ADIRONDACKS, CHAMPLAIN VALLEY
All across
the Northern Adirondacks from Tupper Lake to Lake Champlain the
fishing action is quiet. All the trout and salmon stockings have
been completed, and everyone is waiting for the water to warm
enough for the fish to bite. The same is true for northern pike
and tigers; they are all stressed out from spawning and the cold
water they too, are quiet.
The Outfitter
Plus Sports Shop in Dannemora has all the fishing supplies needed
for a summer full of fun, stop in and stock up. If wildlife art
in the form of animal mounts is for you, stop in at North Country
Taxidermy on Main Street, Keene, NY. The mounts and other wildlife
art displayed here will astound you. Stop in soon.
There will be
a “Quit Wishing” –“Go Fishing”, 4th Annual Spring
