Some very good smallmouth bass fishing on the Allegheny River with the best bet for bait minnow type lures - Rapalas, Jitter Bugs, tiny Torpedoes & Heddon Crazy Crawlers. They are also catching nice catfish using lots of nightcrawlers. Lots of trout are still in the streams like Big Sandy, Sugar Creek and other local streams. Most success seems to be using maggots and nightcrawlers.
