Fishing:
Ron lives only 2 blocks from the St. Croix River and knows all the good areas to fish.  He goes to Mille Lacs in the spring, summer, and winter.  Ice fishing is very enjoyable and comfort can be found in his 10X20 sleeper shack.

Fishing for perch in the flats during the day, back to the shack for evening Walleye bites during January & February.  Walleye fishing closes February 15th, season is short but sweet.  Don't miss out on the fun!

Ice Fishing is enjoyed on beautiful Mille Lacs Lake.

Hunting:
From Grouse to Bear hunting, Ron does it all.  He is here to guide you through the most perfect hunting season you've ever had.

Hunting is done in Area # 25 in Orr, Mn. but Ron is always open to hunt in other areas.

Applications for Bear Hunting is open from April 1st - May 7th

Ron offers 3 different hunting packages for both deer and bear.

Cabins for Rent:
Live the outdoor life, enjoy the country scenery, and the great fishing.  Cabin is located in Lake of the Woods, 1/2 mile from the lake. Only a short 5 1/2  hour drive from the Twin Cities area.  It can be rented by the day or week.   Call for full details!

Taxidermy:
Specializing in game heads and life-size mounts. As a true lover of outdoor life, Ron brings these wonderful creatures to life with his mounts. They are trophies, given the attention they deserve and presented to the customer to their order.

Who is Ron?
Ron has been exposed to fishing and hunting all his life, and has 40 years of experience.  He is currently retired and spends most of his time doing what he loves, fishing, hunting, and taxidermy.

Over 10 years ago, Ron bought a cabin north of Orr, Mn. from his father.  He spent allot of time over the years learning all the great places around Orr to fish and hunt.  At this time, Ron met Mary who enjoys fishing and hunting as much as he does.  Together they spend allot of time fishing and in the woods hunting Bear, Deer, Grouse, Duck, and Geese.

The Shaleen home is filled with mounts which include Deer, Grouse, Bear, Fox, Coyote, and all fish including a stringer mount of walleyes.

Being retired now, Ron completed a computer class in Digital Photograph, and successfully graduated from Pine Technical College for Taxidermy.
